Filmmaker and photographer Lydia Garnett focuses on style and subculture. Attuned to the nuanced intersections of fashion and identity, Lydia uses these to craft intimate storytelling rooted in a collision of ritual, collectivity and play.
Recently, Lydia photographed ASHISH’s Spring 26 collection and co-directed the music video ‘Statue In The Square’ for Kae Tempest – a powerful visualisation of defiance and a celebration of trans love and resilience made with Boy Dykes collective.
Last year, Lydia won Best Special Visual Project at the UKMVAs with their ‘Last Exit on Bethnal’. A poetic exploration of power and sexuality, ‘Last Exit on Bethnal’ marked the release of Hannah Holland’s latest album and premiered at the ICA in London.
Additional clients for Lydia include Rimowa, Dior, ASHISH, Fendi, Wonderland, Nike, adidas, The Face, Altered States and Buffalo Magazine.
