Max Sherman is a writer and director from Toronto, Canada. Best known for his widely acclaimed anthology of short films, ‘But I’d Really Have To Kill You’ (2015), ‘One Minute’ (2017), ‘Nowadays’ (2020), and ‘Chloe Cherry Likes Her Men Like Her Tea’ (2022).
Working in an advertising context, Sherman has created iconic work in the US, UK, and all over Europe. He has directed award-winning commercials for brands such as Apple, Google, Amazon, McDonald’s, and Uber. Recognized by Cannes, Clios, CICPLOPE, D&AD, The Webbys, and most recently a fourth Vimeo Staff Pick for his latest short in which he answers the burning question of how internet it-girl Chloe Cherry likes her tea.
