King She launched in fall 2022.
Within a year of their industry debut, the married team of Radha Ganti and Robert Lopuski were named AICP Best New Director, Ad Campaign’s 2023 Top 10 Directors, and were finalists in Ad Age’s Creativity Awards Directors to Watch. This year they were both Eyecandy’s Top Directors as well as Ad Campaign’s Top 10 Directors (’24).
The duo made waves globally with their bold approach to storytelling in Rare:The Boy Who Cried Swag. Premiering on Nowness in September 2022, the breakthrough short film won 3 Young Director Awards in Cannes as well as numerous other accolades.
Their 1st commercial campaign, Apple Music & Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime show teasers’ Diamonds and Pose, won a 2023 Cannes Gold and Silver Lion and received over 10 million social impressions in its debut week. Their debut music video, the biopunk spectacle Tanto, was awarded a 2024 Cannes Bronze Lion for Excellence in Music Video. Their recent work on Powerade, eBay, Spotify, and John Lewis’ Christmas advert ‘The Window,’ have received 60+ awards and nominations, displaying that their innovative process is a tool for resonant communication.
King She is based in Brooklyn. They host a Podcast Series about creativity and mentorship. Shots Magazine calls it ’a deep and entertaining dive into the mindsets and experiences of both rising and established filmmakers.
